After my 'home' Clockwork Zoo Animation Studio was closed suddenly and unexpectedly on May 18th, i had to quickly send out mass emails (like the other 50+ animators retrenched along with me) to find work to, you know, pay bills.... buy food....

This is what i mashed together from the shows we had been working on at CWZ for the last 3-4 years.

Melanie is a Character from Caillou Season 5 - which we animated for Cookie Jar Canada.
I did her run & walk cycles etc for the Character library.
REALLY REALLY rough Animatic Concept for one of the Bruswick Vids.
Animated shorts to be played on Bruswick's Bowling Alley TV's after "strikes" etc.

Phase 1: Character Design for Bruswick. Brief was for "Anime-style" Characters.

Bruswick also had us do concept work on a "villain" and male "Hero".
These were some of my submissions based on their brief. The 3 circles link back to the Bowling Theme.
At Clockwork Zoo we were each given a suitable Animal name (alias)... not sure how it came about, but mine was Seal. As in baby white harp seal! AKA Clubbing Seal!!
